A JESUS-CENTERED COMMUNITY REIMAGINING INCLUSIVE SPACES TO REST, RESTORE, BELONG AND BECOME

Being a Church Starts Here.

We believe that being a Jesus-centered community means centering the people Christ did, challenging even the most religious among us. As our church grows and embraces more of Christ’s Beloved, our beliefs and values will continue to evolve. Click the link below to read our Statement of Faith.

We affirm LGBTQ+ voices.

Our church centers LGBTQ+ voices, providing space for LGBTQ+ individuals to lead, speak, and serve—ways the Church has historically neglected. Queer people hold leadership roles at every level in our community. We are committed to creating a space where LGBTQ+ individuals can fully be and become who God has made and gifted them to be.

We are committed to the work of anti-racism.

Contrary to popular belief, Orange County is home to a richly diverse population, including many communities of color. Unfortunately, LGBTQ+ affirming spaces remain rare in many Christian contexts, especially for people of color. Our church is dedicated to creating an inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming space for all.

Despite some challenging headlines, Orange County is making strides toward becoming a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable place. However, this crucial work must begin in our own community—and, for us, in our church. Historically, predominately white churches have often caused harm rather than healing. Our goal as a church is to grow in anti-racism work by building relationships and making reparations with BIPOC communities impacted by racism.

For us, allyship is not just a label—it’s an ongoing action.

Women are spearheading this church.

Pastor Donna, our lead pastor and founder, continues to lead our church with vision and dedication. Pastor Dottie, serving as our support pastor, brings invaluable guidance and care to our community. Alongside them, mothers, women of color, disabled women, and queer women are the spiritual leaders and nurturers who are reimagining a safer and healthier approach to church for the next generation.

Orange County is home to many churches, so what makes ours unique?

Inclusion extends beyond women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ voices.

To those deconstructing and decolonizing your faith, welcome.

To those who have been marginalized or decentered in the church, welcome.

To those seeking rest, welcome.

To those longing for a reparative space to heal and belong, welcome.

And to those trying to reclaim faith, church and God, welcome.

Everyone has a story and deserves a place in God’s Kin-dom*. You have a story, and we dream that you and yours can belong and thrive in our church community.

*The term “Kin-dom” comes from Theologian Ada Maria Isasi-Diaz in her book Mujerista Theology: A Theology for the 21st Century.
